Cafe culture

One of my favorite things about living in Europe is all of the sitting in cafes drinking coffee. Of course, all I get is the leftover foam from cappuccinos!

In my front yard...

Yes, I have a turtle (actually, a tortoise) now...my mommy rescued it from near-certain death as it walked down a road just outside Tirana. And, now, it lives happily in my yard...and I live happily watching it while I play. Whatdya think I should call it?

i have some big shoes to fill....

Hiking and Bathing

Another hash...but this one cut short by technical difficulties! Good thing Zadie David is coming to the rescue with new boots being sent to Albania... In the meantime, it's nice to know that there is always a donkey (or a cow or a goat or a sheep or a horse) somewhere nearby. And all that hiking can make a little guy pretty dirty, but I don't mind because it means I get to play in the bath every night!

Sticks and stones...

I've been very, very busy. Too busy to put all the cute photos of me up on the blog! But, can't resist the call for more photos from my Tia TJ and Mimi Marina, so here are a couple of me at this really beautiful place just outside of Tirana.

Me and my friend Ollie, who is 3, and Adlyn, who is 6 months, went to go play somewhere fun on a day off from preschool. Since we couldn't go by ourselves, Mommy Mindy, and her friends Jen (Ollie and Adlyn's mom) and Elham (my preschool teacher) came with us. I never have to drive, so I just get to look out of the window at all kinds of fun things, like cows, chickens, horse carts, and donkeys with bags of stuff on them. And when we got to the place we were going, there was a river with stones to throw in it, a playground, cool mountains, and FOOD. Life is good in Albania....
