I can't stay away from Vegas!
It's a good thing they don't let me near those slot machines yet. I went to Las Vegas again! Mama had to go for work (something about putting some guy in jail), and so we all went for a visit to Bubbe's house. Of course, the first thing I did (after smiling at everyone, of course) was to eat. Bubbe got me oatmeal and my new favorite, sweet potatoes.
Traveling to Vegas would not be the same without an entourage. First, Nisha Masi and Aunt Julie came, and we had lots of fun going to the ESPN Sports Zone. They seemed pretty serious (and competitive) about throwing some ball through some hoop...something about Aunt Julie being some basketball star in college. I just liked all the flashing lights and all the people doing silly stuff. Like this picture of Mommy Mindy and Nisha Masi. What are they doing?!? But it was awfully funny to watch them shove that stick around really frantically!
And then Auntie Heather came too! What fun--the more people paying attention to me the better! And I love that I'm the center of attention. (Stop pouting Heather...even you know that it's really ME that everyone is looking at!) We went on another hike with all those red rocks...hopefully I can put up the pictures that Nisha took sometime soon.
But, of course, my Bubbe and Grandpa Ron are my favorite...after all, I may be small, but even I know that it's the grandparents that do all the spoiling!

Political Activism
I may be small, but I'm already a political activist!! On February 13, I went to Equality Maryland's Lobby Day in Annapolis, and told my state senators and delegates to vote against any amendment to the state constitution that would ban same-sex marriage. I also told them that I wanted my mommies to be able to get married. I think they listened. But they need to hear from lots of other people too...especially people who can vote! So if you live in Maryland, make sure to get on Equality Maryland's e-mail list, and contact your representatives! If I can do it, you can definitely do it!
Then on February 14 I kept up the good work. I was an officiant at American University's Freedom to Marry Day, sponsored by the LGBT student group. I got to marry people!! Who knew I could do that?!? Okay, so they were only mock marriages, and they only lasted for 24 hours, but still... What fun =)

Let it snow, let it snow...
And did it snow...all night long! And I woke up to crazy white stuff everywhere--in the front yard, in the back yard, and all up and down the street! My mommies pulled a little red suit for me from out of somewhere, and off we went.
After our walk we had surprise visitors. And I LOVE visitors, so they got all kinds of big smiles. Kathi and Teri came over and brought me a cool new toy that flashes and makes noise. And my mommmies seemed really happy 'cuz before they came in they did something called "shoveling the walk." Not sure why you would want to do that, but I was glad it made my mommies smile. Later Allison and Amy came over too, and ate cookies which they didn't share.

I have a new buddy..
First, I'll preface this brief post by saying that I don't have any new pictures (but, yes, I am still very cute!). But, I just had to welcome my new buddy, Noah Connor Barry-Kessler, to the world. He was born today at 3:37pm, at a whopping 9lbs, 7 oz (he makes me look small...). Many congratulations to Liza, Jill, and new little Noah!!

Hangin' with my buddies
OK, I know, I know. I haven't posted in a while. And what was that silly last post with no text?
I've been busy, real busy. I've been going to AU with Mommy Mindy every day and hanging out with Titi Frances, Jan, Vincent, Adam, and Allison. We play, babble, and roll up and down the hallways so I can see all my AU friends. I even went to Mommy Mindy's going away party last week. I only have one more week at AU. I will be sad not to go there every day -- I know Mommy will be too.
Then, I've had the busiest social calendar you can imagine.
Here's me with my buddy Alex. He was born 3 days before I was. We like the same stuff, like exersaucers, teething toys, and moms.
And then I met Sadhana, who is a year old. She can stand up and walk around with people. I can't WAIT until I can do that too!
Then all the babies from my mommies' pregnancy group came over for lasagna. I of course was not allowed to eat lasagna :(
But I had a good time playing with everybody.
