Cherry Blossoms

I went down to the tidal basin this week. Not just once, not just twice, but three times!! Okay, so I slept through the visit one time, but I had lots of fun on the other days. The cherry blossoms were beautiful!

Mommy Mindy kept trying to tell me to be gentle, but they were so pretty that I just wanted to grab them.

My favorite day was when I got to go down to the cherry blossoms with my mommies and my elf, Diana. The sun was shining and the weather was perfect--it's days like that that make me love being in Washington!

Go Badgers!

I love my Wisconsin outfit from Aunts Kim and Peg. You can't see them, but I also have red monkey shoes to go with the red sweatsuit. OK, Badgers, you better give me something to cheer about pretty soon!

Also, you can see that I'm enjoying my new alphabet/number play mat. I can roll over both ways now, so I needed something soft to cushion me when I'm on the floor playing with my toys. Here's me with one of my favorite blocks.

Congratulations Christa!!!

Christa got a tenure track job at Wooster College in Ohio! And, I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to be feeling about this. I mean, my mommies seem really happy and excited for her. But I don't want her and B to go so far away! How are they supposed to play with me? Can't you see how much fun I had when I got to have breakfast with Christa last Tuesday? (Oh...and don't forget to notice how cute I am in my little fox shirt!)

Bicycle, bicycle, I want to ride...

I love to ride behind Mama's bicycle. I only complain when we stop. I love especially riding with the "That's how we roll" group -- we have a great time. We started at Proteus, my favorite bicycle shop with my favorite bicycle shop owner, Jill. We rode all the way to the Bladensburg marina and back. I loved going fast, especially, and I really enjoyed brunch afterwards at the College Perk. Can't wait to go again!

Small, Medium, and Large

So I went over to my buddy Alex's house, and there was another baby there, Andrew. We had lots of fun playing together with Alex's toys! The funny thing is that we are all very different sizes, and Andrew, the youngest, was the biggest! Alex, who is older than me by three days was the smallest, and I was right in the middle.

Evil?

Okay, so normally this blog is all about me...but for a moment I thought I would post the results of a little blog quiz that my Mommy Mindy came across and took. Look below to find how evil she is. I dare you to find out how evil you are...

I, of course, am completely pure. Yep, pure Levi, that's me!

You Are 24% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.
In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

Spring!

Can you believe it? It was over 80 degrees today -- spring is here! I like spring. Today my mommies took me to Georgetown to have lunch with one of their friends and my new buddy Ezra. We bonded over our Old Testament names. We all sat outside and ate -- I had peas. Unfortunately Ezra and I couldn't play, because he slept most of the time. I, of course, did not sleep at all. I did wear my very fun sun hat, though.

Cause for celebration

Mama Melissa is very happy today because she can finally fit into her favorite Lucky jeans. Somehow, it's my fault that she couldn't wear them for over a year. I'm not sure why, but I'm glad everything is fixed now. I can't get attached to any of my clothes because I outgrow them in a few weeks, although I'm quite fond of my one-piece orange jumpsuit that makes me look like an orange gnome (no, not like a prison inmate).

More photos on Kodak Gallery

Finally I had a few moments to put blog photos into the Kodak Gallery. There's a new album with all the photos since the last time I created a photo album. Go nuts...wallpaper your house with me, me, me....or just put one or two up on your refrigerator.

OW!

I got shots today -- I hate them! Why, why, why do they need to stick me with needles every time I go to the pediatrician? It even makes my mommies sad. But they were happy to finally get some medicine for my skin, which itches all the time. The doctor says I have eczema, which sounds like a word I will get wrong on a future spelling test. I'm not sure which is worse, the medicine or the itching.

For those of you keeping score at home, I now weigh 19 pounds 15 ounces (88%), am 27 1/2 inches long (85%) and have a head circumferance of 45 cm (83%). I'm still a big guy!
